In the folders of the Jiří Menzel Foundation, held by Kateřina Špálová, is a new contract for a financial contribution to the graduate film. The film "What Hides in the Dark", directed by Viola Bláhová, is being made at FAMU. This project combines live-action film with cartoon animation to create a unique visual experience. The story of eight-year-old Victor focuses on overcoming fear and finding courage, while the technical treatment benefits from the innovative use of animation to capture fantastical elements such as magical fog. We can only add that Kateřina Špálová will certainly prove to be a great producer in the future. Her meticulous preparation of the documents for the grant application was second to none. Fingers crossed for everyone in the team.
