Nela Frauenbergová, a film production student at FAMU, came to Jiří Menzel's apartment to get the signed contract, where she met Olga Menzelová in his library.  She introduced us to the content of the film, which they are preparing to shoot in the second half of May.  The film "The Visit That Doesn't Wander" follows the meeting of two former army colleagues, Michal and Hynek, who after a nervous breakdown find themselves in the psychiatric ward of a military hospital. Their conversations between the lines reveal feelings of guilt, insecurity and a friendship that persists even in moments of personal failure. The film focuses on the theme of the inability to communicate in moments when we are most vulnerable, while also bearing the weight of mental illness and problems. As you can see, the students are not shying away from more serious topics and we are happy to support them in their endeavors, at least a little.
