On Saturday, September 6, a special exhibition commemorating the fifth anniversary of Jiří Menzel's passing was opened. The Jiří Menzel Foundation exhibited the awards and diplomas that Jiří Menzel received for his work since 1966. There are nearly 150 of them, but not everything we found at his home was displayed. We are delighted that so many guests, friends, and personalities attended the opening. Among the artists who worked with Jiří on many projects were cinematographer J. Šofr, editor Jiří Brožek, and actors Václav Neckář, Jitka Zelenohorská, Dáša Bláhová, Eva Hrušková, Jan Přeučil, director Karel Smyczek, and many others.

The exhibition was still open on Sunday, and we are very pleased that hundreds of visitors saw it over the weekend.
