After graduating from the DAMU (Theater Academy), he played at the Jaroslav Průcha Theatre in Kladno for eight years, then at the Drama Club (The Dime Opera, Three in It, The Captain of Köpenick). After twenty-five years, he decided to become a freelancer. He moved between several theatre venues: the Ungelt Theater, the Theatre in Řeznická, the Prague Castle Summer Stage in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and the Prague Municipal Theatres.
